Between a Rock and a Computer Screen.
Growing up in Colorado and coming into my memories in the early 90’s, meant each day was an opportunity to discover. From the pebbled hills of the Rocky Mountains to a vivacious paper clip who taught me to write, I was always marching the tight rope of admiration for nature and an excitement for the technological universe evolving alongside me.
Striking Out on My Own.
After graduating high school, and coming out as gay, I had a lot of self-exploring that I needed to do. I wasn’t ready to further my education, and if I’m being honest, I knew I wouldn’t make it to the end. I did what anyone would do in my shoes and began working in the service industry. My chosen circle of hell—retail. Luckily, I found quick success and was promoted to Visual Merchandiser. After working for various retailers, bouncing around to find my worth, I wound up working for a private jeweler where I had the opportunity to design unique pieces for my clientele. This return to creating was the catalyst for me to log into my first Gotham Writers Workshop. Equipped with a fresh writing routine, and a reignited passion for the pen, I enrolled in classes at Southern New Hampshire University, where I will be graduating in December 2024, with my BA in Creative Writing.
On the Horizon
Besides the poetry and short stories published to this site, I’m also querying my works out to journals across the web. Additionally, I’m polishing and crafting the finishing touches on my first science-fiction novel, The Last Alchemist: Book of Gold. Featuring expansive world-building and a unique magic system, this novel promises to immerse readers into the dystopian world of siblings, Vaughn and Victory. I look forward to connecting, and sharing my projects with you.

“The good ended happily, and the bad unhappily. That is what fiction means.”
